UK August 2017 Consumer Prices

The Office of National Statistics (ONS) announced on the 12th September 2017 that the UK Consumer Prices Index (CPI) for August increased by 2.9%. This was 0.3% up on the rate reported in July 2017. Increases in the price of motor fuels and clothing were the main causes of the rise.

The next statement by the ONS will be issued on the 17th of October 2017
